March, 2008
I (Phil) went to Mexico City to visit Mark, who moved down there several months ago. Mark and I visited a small town south of the City, called Tepotzlan, and hiked up into the hills to see a pyramid up there. The next day, we visited a big, partially restored pre-Aztec city called Xochicalco; amazingly, there were almost no other visitors. The day after that, my friend Mike came down from Oakland, and the three of us spent a few days seeing some of the sights in Mexico City. Mike and I also did a day trip to the truly impressive pyramids and ruins of Teotihuacan. I took a few photos, which you can see on the photo page.
