Here I am, over a third of a century old already, closing in on half of my life expectancy, and I don't even have a lousy Nobel Prize to show for it. What on earth have I been doing with my time?

Of course, a lot of time is wasted by things like work (at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory*). Every now and then I write a little something. I've done some traveling, particularly in recent years. And for over a decade now, I've spent an inordinate amount of time, money, and energy playing Ultimate (a.k.a. Ultimate Frisbee).
